Product Description
The missing link is the Copyright of Brad's AC Performance 2018. This product is patent pending
The “Missing Link” is a bracket with a high-rate spring that mounts into the skid frame rails just behind the rubber bump stops. In the very final inch of suspension travel the device will engage the upper cross shaft of the rear torque arm and help to prevent hard bottoming onto the rails.
What this does is allow you to turn the rear suspension for a more comfortable ride yet still have resistance to bottoming in that big blowout bump. As you know, anytime the suspension bottoms and the cross shaft axle collides with the rubber bump stops down on the rails it is a violent disruption to the ride quality. The bumpers are not there to protect us, they are there to help save the rails.
The Missing Link helps control the energy at this end of travel to prevent hard bottoming.
