is it dangerous to tint shattered glass proof tint on the front of the car windshield?

lightbow asked:

There are two theories here.
1) If i don’t tint the front windshield, pebbles or stone will damage or may cause injuries to the passenger if it hits the front.

2) If i tint, there is a risk of preventing rescue operation in progress to get to the passenger if accidents happen.
Any reason why shatter-proof glass tinting on the Front windshield is illegal in USA? Is it dangerous or what?

How long is it safe to drive with a fracture ***** on my car windshield?

CallaLily asked:

A big rock hit my car windshield about couple months ago while I was driving on the highway. I did not notice a fracture ***** about 1 inch until three days ago. During the time I noticed the ***** on my window until I got home (approximately 1/2 hour), the ***** lengthened to about 1 foot. I also wondering what other options I have besides replacing my windshield.

Is it OK to leave aerosol-can windshield de-icer in my car during the winter?

Saturday, May 15th, 2010
Coriolanus asked:

I know the can isn’t supposed to be exposed to heat above 120 degrees and so it’s probably stupid to leave it in one’s car during the summer. But I live in Minnesota and want to leave one in my car the next couple months of winter. It’s ranging like 20 below to 30 above. Is this all right? Will freezing temperatures in a car harm an aerosol can?

What are the best windshield wiper blades I can buy?

Saturday, July 4th, 2009
2007_Shelby_GT500 asked:

I have a 2002 Toyota 4Runner. The stock wiper blades are crap in the winter time. I replaced them with PIAA wiper blades, and those aren’t good in the winter either.
When the wiper blades get cold or get some snow on ice on them, they don’t make even contact on the windshield. So, as the wiper tries to clean the water, snow or dirt off the windshield, it leaves big spots where the blade is obviously not making contact with the glass.
Should I upgrade to “winter blades” to avoid this, and, if so, which brand?
Thanks!
